A complete mission kit in 2.5D soft PVC: space-suited astronauts in two poses, ringed planets in both solar and striped colourways, a lifting rocket with flame plumes, a domed saucer with a tractor beam, friendly aliens, cratered moons, a ringed Earth, a nebula cloud, a spiral galaxy, shooting stars, and rocket fins — finished with word badges such as SPACE, GALAXY, COSMIC and TO THE MOON. Every charm uses micro-groove colour separation and snaps into standard clog ventilation holes with a flexible backing button.

Most novelty themes are tied to a season or a dated trend. Space is one of the few that sells on a flat curve: it is not seasonal, it is not age-locked, and it carries an educational framing that parents and institutions accept far more readily than a licensed character.
Unlike beach or holiday themes, space imagery has no calendar window and no campaign year. Unsold units do not become obsolete, so a single production run can be worked down across several selling periods.
The same astronaut charm is a toy-shop novelty for a child and a design statement for an adult buyer. Museum shops, science centres and gift retail all buy the identical mould.
Planets, moons and orbits sit comfortably in STEM and discovery merchandising, which opens institutional and museum channels that novelty characters rarely enter.
Deep indigo, violet and cyan against a pale background produce high thumbnail contrast, so the product reads clearly at marketplace-size and on a social feed without any supporting copy.

The series is assembled as a buildable mission set rather than a handful of separate novelties, so pieces layer into a scene. Four families are in current tooling, and any element can be re-coloured, re-scaled or re-lettered for your line.

Library shown is existing tooling. Assortments can be curated per buyer, and a single order may combine crew, celestial and badge pieces from any family.
Space subjects are built from spheres, rings and gloss, and each of those is a separate manufacturing problem. Getting the ring geometry and the finish contrast right is the difference between a piece that reads as a miniature model and one that reads as a flat cartoon.
On every ringed planet the band is modelled so it crosses over the sphere on the near side and disappears behind it on the far side. That occlusion is what gives the planet volume — a ring drawn as a full ellipse across the front immediately flattens the whole piece.
The astronaut's helmet dome is finished with a high-gloss reflective surface while the suit behind it stays satin matte. Two finishes in one casting is what produces the mirrored highlight across the visor that reads as glass.
Planet bands are cut as separate horizontal tiers in stepped colour, with the ring overlaid as its own raised element. The tiering produces the soft shading that makes a sphere look lit from one side rather than evenly filled.
The nebula cloud and spiral galaxy are built from multiple colour pockets spiralling into a bright core, so the piece carries a genuine gradient rather than a flat two-colour split.

Macro reference: high-gloss reflective visor against a satin suit, control panel detail on the torso, and a planet ring modelled to pass both in front of and behind the sphere.
The same mould can be supplied in three finishes, which is the simplest way to build a price ladder or a limited edition from one set of tooling.
The catalogue finish: smooth satin matte soft PVC with full multi-colour separation. The default for volume retail and giveaways, and the most scuff-tolerant surface.
Selected elements can be produced with a phosphorescent compound so stars, moons or a planet core continue to read after the lights go down — a natural fit for a night-sky theme.
Glitter-loaded compound or matched colour gradients can be applied to the nebula, galaxy and star elements to lift a set into a premium or limited-edition tier.
Finish availability is confirmed at the proof stage against your chosen colourways.
Charms use a flexible 12mm circular black button sized for the standard 10mm–13mm round ventilation holes found across classic foam clogs, slides and sandals. The wide flange seats beneath the foam, keeping the piece flush and secure through normal walking.
Grip across the design rather than the edges, and line the black bottom button up with a ventilation hole on the shoe upper.
Bring the button in at an angle instead of straight down. The wedge lets the flexible rim start passing through without forcing the foam, so repeated swaps do not stretch the hole.
Push down firmly until the rim flexes and the flange clears the hole. No glue, no tools and no stitching, which is what makes the format suitable for giveaways and self-service retail.
Reach inside the shoe and push the bottom flange back outward with a finger. Pulling on the front face is what damages charms, so this method is worth printing on your retail card.

Because it carries no seasonal or licensed dependency, this series reaches channels that novelty themes usually cannot enter.
Discovery retail buys astronomy imagery as a matter of course, and a mission-patch style badge can carry a venue name without needing a licensed property.
Space sits inside the curriculum and inside the toy aisle. Educational framing makes this an easier approval for parents and school buyers than a character-based novelty.
Cosmic gradients already run through tech and gaming visual identity. A charm set extends an existing graphic language onto footwear with no new artwork required.
Launch events, product drops and conferences use space metaphors constantly — to the moon among them — which makes the word badges easy to co-brand with a campaign line.

The set theme invites mission-style presentation, which is a low-cost way to add perceived value at the packing stage rather than at the mould.
Design review, mould machining, colour blending and quality control all sit in-house, which keeps the sample loop short and the approved detailing identical in mass production.
A logo, mascot, mission patch or rough sketch is enough. Include the intended size, quantity and destination market so the quote is built against the right specification.
You receive a layer-by-layer proof showing colour divisions, relief heights and finish callouts, normally within 24 hours. Wording and colour balance are corrected here.
A pre-production sample lets you check the gloss and matte contrast against your reference, confirm the shade and test the fit in a real shoe.
Automated multi-colour dispensing and vulcanising, followed by manual inspection of the relief detail, colour boundaries and backing button before packing.
Door-to-door express through the major international carriers, with tracking issued against the consignment so it can be passed straight to your end buyer.
