Put it down and the stars continue settling for another ten or fifteen seconds. Then stillness. Until the next time you reach for it.
This is the standee format where the material and the illustration collaborate. The character in the artwork has flowers and sparkles in their design — and the floating star confetti outside the print extends that sparkle into the physical space around them. The boundary between what's illustrated and what's real becomes a little blurry, in a way that's genuinely charming.
The standee is thick — noticeably thicker than a standard display standee. That thickness is the chamber.
Two layers of clear acrylic, sealed at the edges. Between them: a clear or slightly tinted liquid with star-shaped metallic confetti suspended in it. The chamber is the same shape as the character silhouette — so the liquid and the stars are inside the character outline, not visible outside it.
When you look at the standee straight-on, the liquid is nearly invisible. You see the character print, and behind it, a shifting cloud of gold and holographic stars. The depth you're perceiving — the sense that the stars are further away than the character, that there are multiple planes to what you're looking at — is real. The character artwork is on the front face. The stars are physically behind it, in the liquid.
From the side, the chamber depth is visible as clear acrylic with liquid inside. The stars appear as small points that catch light differently from the acrylic surface. If there's a window behind the standee, light passes through and makes the interior genuinely luminous.

The shaker keychain is approximately 55–75mm. You hold it, shake it, photograph it. The glitter movement is visible but small-scale.
The shaker standee is approximately 150–200mm — more than twice as tall, with a chamber proportionally larger. The liquid has more room to move. The stars have more distance to drift. The settling time after tilting is longer. The effect at desk distance (arm's length, not hand's length) is considerably more dramatic.

Desk lamp at night: the light enters the acrylic from above, refracts through the liquid, and exits from the sides and back. The character artwork is lit from within. The stars catch the beam and scatter tiny points across the desk surface.
Natural light, window behind the standee: backlit acrylic goes from transparent to luminous. The stars are silhouetted against the light, then lit by it as they drift to different depths. The character print has a slight glow at the edges where the acrylic catches the window.
Photography ring light: the liquid inside the chamber acts as a lens element. The ring light is visible as a tiny circular reflection in the deeper stars. This is an accident of physics and it looks intentional.
Low light or candle: the character dims but the metallic stars remain reflective. The standee becomes a small point of activity in a quiet space — the stars moving slowly in response to the thermal currents from the candle.
None of this is designed. All of it is a consequence of the material properties. The liquid, the metallic stars, the acrylic — they interact with light in ways that are physically determined rather than artistically chosen, which is part of why it looks genuine rather than manufactured.

Is the character artwork visible from both sides? The character is UV-printed on the front face only. The back face of the acrylic is clear — you can see the liquid and stars inside the chamber when viewed from behind, but there's no character print on the reverse. A reverse print option is available on request.
What size are the star confetti pieces? The stars are approximately 4–6mm across — visible as individual star shapes from normal desk viewing distance (60–90cm). At closer range, the five-point star form is clearly legible. Smaller glitter options (under 2mm, which appear as shimmer rather than defined shapes) are also available.
